I’ve traveled to about 8 countries, I even got my American Visa in 2019 which I haven’t been able to use because of the Covid-19, but in fairness I’ve never felt like relocating. Since I lost out on relocating in 1997, each time I traveled for a visit or training, I always yearned to come back home.

It wasn’t until last year during the END SARS protest when I saw the recklessness of the Police, the disconnect of the government, the rapid injustice all around and the fact that people could  readily suspend reason and rule of law in their bid to quell resistance that I felt, “maybe I really should have travelled” Of course, I had opportunities to relocate to Canada in 2014-15, but I reinstated my resolve to stay here and make it work, particularly because I have a passion for young Nigerians living here and this makes me feel a strong connect to Nigeria.
